“So far my Aprilia is working really well out there despite all the bumps – you could say I knew what to expect! I’m happy with how things have gone on this opening day and I think we can be satisfied with the job done. Unfortunately we had to stop early because of the weather but I was able to enjoy myself when we were out on track. I gradually improved my feeling with the bike and set my best lap near the end, making a slight modification to last year’s setting on the rear. We still have a lot to do but we’re starting from a good base and I’m more than happy with this as a first outing.”
