Kent makes strong start at Indianapolis

The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team got off to a very strong start for the Indianapolis Grand Prix in the USA this weekend. Championship leader Sandro Cortese was the overall fastest rider on Friday while teammate Danny Kent was right behind.

Today’s best laptime was run in the afternoon practice session, with Cortese posting a best of 1.49,307, just 0.126 seconds ahead of Kent who was fastest in the morning session which was run on a partially wet track after an early rain shower, making for challenging conditions on the 4.2 kilometre track.

Danny Kent: “I’ve been training during the summer break and I feel strong both mentally and physically. My goal is to run strong for the rest of the season and fight for the podium in all races.”
